Peace- There will be no peace on earth until Jesus is trusted as the one who brings peace by everyone. Meanwhile, if you want peace you don’t imagine it; get real and seek out the Prince of Peace.
How To Be A Christian Without Being A Jerk
Faith in real life

O is for O, ___________
O, ______ Many Christmas carols begin with “O.” Why? I think it is so when you are singing in a group your mouth forms the “O” like the kids at the end of Charlie Brown’s Christmas.
N is for Night
Night- Though darkness is a metaphor for so much bad in the Bible, night gets a pass because it is what we think of when we think of Christmas. Stars, angels lighting up the skies, and shepherds abiding; try that at 2 in the afternoon.
M is for Mary
Mary- According to babynamer.com, the 699th most popular boys name in America. I wonder how popular of a name it is with a boy stuck with it?
L is for Leaves
Leaves- Pine needles are technically “leaves,” and get all over the house. The smell…the sight…It might not be “green” to go “green,” but we’ll be getting a real tree again this year.
K is for Kris Kringle
Kris Kringle- an early American mispronunciation of “Christkindel,” the German giftgiver. So many names for Santa Claus. He is a wonderful model of joy and giving. Just remember he didn’t die for our sins.
psalm 137:9
When we were young we would look for scary or unusual bible verses. It snowed a lot and we didn’t have XBox 360. This psalm always makes me go, “Whoa!” The Bible sure covers all emotions, doesn’t it?
J is for Joyeux Noel
Joyeux Noel- “Merry Christmas” in French. Another European country where people have become so secularized, that Christmas may be just a distant memory soon. Jesus hasn’t gone anywhere…Still King.
I is for Indigestion
Indigestion- We get this because of overeating and eating richer foods than usual. Moderation is wise. Even better are the great anti-acids and acid reducers now available. Merry Christmas!
c28 clothing for Christmas
My favorite store at the Northridge Mall is c28 clothing store. Christian t shirts and everything else are here and they are not dorky or angry, like so much Christian logo wear. Subtle conversation starters. Also, the full on ministry staff of Rob, Billy, Nate and all, well, if you need prayer in a mall, here is the place. Visit them today for Christmas gifts that already have the “Christ” in them. If you aren’t in the area, you can order online here.
