April, June and November…

November 30th, 2009

The Halloween/ Thanksgiving/ Christmas blur is over. Christmas lights are up all around. (Not at our house, quite yet.) Day after Thanskgiving shopping morphing into Black Friday and transforming into Cyber Monday. On this Cyber Monday a bit of nostalgia will not be denied.

Did I miss the Macy's Parade with the big Underdog balloon?
Yes, and I don't even know if they have a parade, anymore. I know there is still a Macy's but, where, o where, is Underdog?

Was there a Notre Dame football game on Friday morning?
Who really cares now or then?

Did I eat an overabundance of turkey variations the last three days?
No. Had turkey on Thanksgiving only, but had an excellent Mole` Saturday night…

What happened to my world?
Nothing. It still belongs to God; not my memories, as selective as they have always been.
Tomorrow is December?
You have to be kidding…
