Spent yesterday celebrating Kristina’s birthday at Disneyland. No, she wasn’t born at Disneyland, but choose the Magic Kingdom as the venue for her 21st. The whole family went, along with her friend Kelsi. It’s a Small World and Yo Ho might be the most famous songs, but I can think of a new one:

It’s a Long Day

as in,

It’s a long day, after all…

The highlight for me is arriving back home around midnight and briefly talking to Kristina before bedtime. Quickly recalling what happened back in 1988 that precipitated the Disneyland trip in the first place. The most humorous memory is having a cold when she was born and so her first couple of days of life on the outside, she bonds with a dad wearing a mask.

Hmmm,,,Maybe this is why this is one of our favorite Simpson’s scenes…
