Just got back from a great trip to Hawaii with Nancy and all the kids. Obviously, they are not kids anymore, and so I get to spend time being more in a dad/ growing adult child relationship. Conversations are longer. Deeper issues of life are explored. There is a lot of laughter (Example- Sign on Waikiki Beach: "Don't Feed The Birds"/ Greg's immediate response: "Oh, yeah, what if I feed them knowledge?")
Everyone in their various roles (mom, dad, husband, wife, daughter, sister, son, brother) is experimenting with wider boundaries of "graciousness" towards each other. Studying a "body language" book together and then following up with "research" on each other is a highlight. Angry brows and all!
Thanks Nancy, Kristina, Greg and David for allowing me into your space a bit more. You are so loved.
