Luke 22:27
27 For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.

Jesus turns the world completely upside down. Serving is everything. If you are a waiter or a waitress, you have to love this passage. You knew you were the greatest all along.

What Jesus is saying is if we want to be connected with him, we will be serving. That is what he is about. That is when we are closest.
